Now on Google Play

Ascend for Android

The workspace you run the agency on now installs on your phone. Start a timer between meetings, answer a client from the inbox, edit a record on the way home.

It is the same account and the same data your laptop opens. Nothing to re-key when you sit back down.

What travels with you

The app is the companion to the web workspace, not a cut-down viewer. The parts of the day that happen away from a desk are the parts it covers first.

Track time against anything

Start a timer on a page, on a database record, or on nothing in particular. The hours log against the work rather than into a separate app.

Every database, in table view

Open any team database, filter it down to what you need, add a record, and edit typed fields. Columns keep their types on the phone.

The same block editor

Write pages with headings, checklists, callouts, code and embedded databases. New pages open straight in edit mode.

Mail and calendar in one list

Connected email and calendar events arrive together, with Active, New, Snoozed and Done to sort through them.

Hours become an invoice

Turn the time you logged into an invoice, saved against the client and ready to send before you get back to the desk.

Build and publish forms

The full form designer travels: reorderable fields, conditional logic, publish, then share the link from your phone.

Booking, contacts, notifications and workspace switching are in there too. Describe a database in plain English on the create screen and the fields land already typed.

One workspace, two ways in.

The app signs into the workspace you already have. Your team, your databases, your tracked hours and your invoices are the ones you left open on the laptop.

  • Same account and same team — sign in once, switch workspaces from the app
  • A timer started on the phone is still running when you open the web app
  • Records edited on either side show the change on the other
  • Permissions and access groups apply exactly as they do on the web

Where you can get it

Android is on Google Play today. On iPhone, Ascend runs in Safari and behaves like an app once you add it to your home screen, with the timer two taps away from any page.

Questions about the app

How much does the Ascend Android app cost?

The app itself costs nothing to install from Google Play. It signs into an Ascend workspace you already have, so what you pay is whatever plan that workspace is on.

Do I need an Ascend account before I install it?

Yes. Create a workspace on the web first, then sign in on the phone. The app opens the same account, the same team, and the same data.

Does the timer keep running when I lock my phone?

Yes. The timer runs on the server rather than inside the app, so backgrounding the app, locking the screen, or switching to something else leaves it running. It is still going when you open your laptop.

Is there an iPhone app?

Not yet. On iPhone, Ascend runs in Safari and behaves like an app once you add it to your home screen, with the timer reachable in two taps from any page.

What can I actually do from the app?

Time tracking, databases and records, pages, the inbox, forms, invoices, booking, contacts and notifications. Settings covers your account, plan, team, security and integrations.

Put the workspace in your pocket.

Install it on Android, sign into your workspace, and start the timer before you walk into the meeting.
