Plans and limits
There are three self-serve plans. Every plan gives you every module — Pages, Databases, Inbox, Forms, Dashboards, Time and Invoicing. What differs is how much you can do with them and whether the team features are switched on.

Yearly billing saves roughly 17%. All amounts are in USD.
Team features
Team features are a Studio bundle. They are not sold separately and are not available on Solo, because Solo is a single seat and there is no second person for them to apply to.

Trial
New workspaces start on a 30-day trial with Studio features and Studio allowances — 3 seats, 5M tokens, 5 GB.
When the trial ends without a subscription, the workspace moves to Free. Nothing is deleted. You keep everything you made; you are simply working inside Free's smaller allowances until you subscribe.
What happens at a limit
Limits are hard caps with a prompt to top up, not overage billing. You will not receive a surprise invoice for going over.
Free has no top-up path at all — it is a hard cap by design. Solo and Studio can buy extra seats, storage and tokens as add-ons.
Free is 25 MB of storage
That is the limit most likely to bite first. One scanned PDF can fill it. If you are evaluating Ascend on real client material, expect to hit storage before you hit anything else.
Changing plan
Settings → Billing, then pick a plan. Payment and cancellation are handled through Stripe — Manage in Stripe opens the customer portal, where you can change the card, switch between monthly and yearly, or cancel.
