Filtering Notifications

Use the tabs at the top of the inbox to focus on specific notification types:

  • All: View all notifications across all categories
  • Deadlines: Deadline approaching and overdue notifications
  • Mentions: @mentions and comment replies directed at you
  • Inbox: Email and calendar event notifications

Each tab displays a count badge showing the number of notifications in that category. The selected notifications will automatically update to match your filter.

Tips

Stay on Top of Mentions

Check your inbox regularly for @mentions. These often require your attention or input.

Use Category Filters

If your inbox is busy, use category filters to focus on what matters:

  • Deadlines: Quickly see what's due or overdue
  • Mentions: Focus on direct callouts that need your attention
  • Inbox: Check new emails and upcoming calendar events
  • Sharing: Review permission changes and new page access

Clear Your Inbox

Use "Mark all read" to clear the badge when you've caught up.

Privacy

  • You only see notifications for pages you have access to
  • If your access is revoked, related notifications are hidden
  • Other users cannot see your notifications
